We recently had our Xmas Dinner and we had a very good turnout. The meal was very nice, so hopefully we will be back there again. There was no great scandal as there usually is at these do’s, or if there was anthing going on, I missed out.
We had our Valentine dance and it was one of our best yet. We were all sitting there wondering whether many more would turn up, and suddenly this invasion comes through the door. Suddenly, we were outnumbered by our Mill Hill friends, people who had been part of the Mill Hill group before it was disbanded. It was great to see them. We did get the feeling that there may have been one or two Irish amongst them for some reason. The all female DJ team was very good , so it was top marks all round. If all our dances had these sort of numbers we would be very happy indeed.
